By creating an account or using Hi-Fi Worldwide, you agree to these terms. They’re meant to keep the community healthy — not to create legal obstacles.

1. Who can use this

Hi-Fi Worldwide is open to anyone who loves music and sound. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm this is true.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • Keep your sign-in credentials secure — don’t share your session
  • Your username must not impersonate another person or brand
  • One account per person — creating duplicates to evade moderation is not allowed

3. Content rules

When you submit a venue, photo, or any other content, you confirm that:

  • The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You are not submitting spam, duplicate listings, or fabricated venues
  • Photos you upload are your own or you have permission to use them
  • Content does not contain hate speech, harassment, or illegal material

By submitting content, you grant Hi-Fi Worldwide a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the platform. You retain ownership. We will remove your content if you delete your account — except for venue listings, which are anonymised (not deleted) to preserve the directory.

4. Moderation

We review all venue submissions before they appear on the map. We may reject, edit, or remove content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or removal.

Moderation decisions are made in good faith. If you believe a decision was wrong, email us — we’ll take another look.

5. Prohibited uses

You must not:

  • Use automated scripts to submit venues, verifications, or farm contribution points
  • Attempt to access accounts or data that isn’t yours
  • Interfere with the platform’s normal operation
  • Use the platform for commercial promotion without prior agreement

6. Availability and changes

Hi-Fi Worldwide is provided as-is. We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We’ll give reasonable notice for significant changes that affect how you use the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

7. Limitation of liability

Venue information is community-contributed and may not always be accurate — opening hours change, equipment gets replaced. Always check before you travel. Hi-Fi Worldwide is not liable for inaccurate listings or decisions made based on them.
